Visiting on a Sunday:

If you’re coming to a Sunday service then whilst our morning service officially starts at 10:15am, our doors are usually open between 20-30mins beforehand. Arriving slightly early may help you find a seat and get used to your surroundings. As you approach the Chapel there are two entrances, the first   and main entrance is on the High Street were hopefully you will be welcomed by someone on the door (standing in what we call the promenade). Alternatively our second entrance is from the small carpark at the back of the building which will bring you past the newest toilets, kitchen and coffee lounge.

The Sunday service usually begins with a Church Steward introducing the service and then an introit (the congregation remain seated as they sing words from the screen). Then the Local Preacher or Minister will lead the service in their own way. This therefore means that each week the service may vary depending on who leads the church service. Approximately once a month a minister is likely to lead a communion service which may be a more formal service.

Sunday Specials:

We are aware that coming to church for the first time may be disorientating (or even scary) and whilst we would welcome new attendees and family at any of our church services, last Sunday in the month we are holding a more informal church service where we are trying to do new and different styles. It is through these different styles of service that we hope new faces will feel at ease and for those regulars may enjoy a different variety of worship.
